My Thoughts

This book has been a long time coming. I have loved this series from its inception. The Beauty and the Beast theme in ACOTAR, the not everything is always as it appears ACOMAF, and the inspirational fight for the right thing ACOWAR. While I won't talk too much about the plot details as to not give away spoilers, I will tell you a few reasons why you should read ACOWAR or start this series if you haven't yet.

Why I Was Wrong About the Planner Life

Listen, I'm about to get real. I have always been intrigued by people's elaborate planners. I love the idea of them and being organized. But looking at what people did with them and the time they took to decorate and use stickers and washi tape overwhelmed me and, I won't lie, I secretly mocked them in my head. I could never see myself spending the time on them and I always thought it looked like people spent more time writing down their life than actually living it. I am here to say for about the fifth time in my life...I was wrong.

I was wrong. I was wrong about the planner life. I was wrong about the time it took to utilize it. I was wrong about how simple it could really be and I have to thank Hannah for that. While visiting her she educated me, lol, on how she uses hers and how simple it is to organize and use the planner and make it your own. I fell in love! I am now obsessed. And I love every second I get to use not only my planner, but my new traveler's journal as well! Let me break it down...

Adventures in the Great Wide Somewhere // Short Flights vs Long Flights

Last week when I was flying to Denver I read my book the whole time. Not something unusual. But for whatever reason it made me realize that I have different habits when I take a short flight vs when I'm on a longer flight. Of course, I took that thinking opportunity and turned it into a post because the more I think about it the more curious I am if other people are the same way.

Hot Cross Buns

"I never stayed. Anywhere. I loved being on the road, meeting new people, hanging my hat somewhere just long enough to sink my teeth into something that used to be incredible and needed to be brought back to life.
And once that was done, ti was off to the next project."

My Thoughts

The Belle
When I saw Buns show up on NetGalley I immediately requested and started after I finished my current read. If you've been here and read my rave reviews for it's predecessors, you know that I was ready to go back to the Hudson Valley with some homegrown hotties. And I was not disappointed.

That's My Bag, Baby {2}

Inspired by Hello, Chelly's What's in My Bag
It's been a while since I've done one of these and the last few weeks have definitely changed what I carry in my bag because, le sigh, I've succumbed to the traveler's notebook trend. After visiting Hannah and having her weave her Fae magic around me aka tell me how simple it is to use and how organized it makes her I was all about it. To be fair to Hannah, I was thinking of getting one for awhile but just couldn't find a cost-effective dupe but, again, she has magic she found one for me at JoAnn's! Woot woot! So here's what's in my bag as of late!

Adventures in the Great Wide Somewhere // Travel By Page to Italy

It's no secret I am in love with Italy. It falls just behind the UK in where my mind always goes to and where my heart lays. The food, the culture the architecture, the history, there is nothing about Italy that I don't love. So of course, I find myself reading quite a few books that take place here. Today I'm featuring my favorite books that take place in Italy, both past and present, to help you travel by page to one of my favorite places in the world...Italy.

My Thoughts

The Belle
Anybody that knows me knows I am beyond obsessed with Anne Boleyn. So when I found out Alison Weir, a favorite author of mine in regards to historical fiction and non-fiction Tudor books, I knew I had to read it. The second of six in a series exploring Henry VIII's six wives, I found this book to be everything I was hoping for.

A Marriage of Convenience

"I've been so alone for so long. Surrounded by people, yet essentially on my own, and facing a lifetime along--and I thought I was content with that,
honestly I was.
But last night, when people...came forward to support me...I was un, unwommaned by their generosity."

My Thoughts

The Belle
When I saw Anne Gracie had a new book in a new series I was beyond fangirling. Since getting The Perfect Rake as a Christmas gift and falling in love with it and every book of hers since, there’s been now 9 total, I was SO excited to get this for review! This new series is about marriages of convenience and it did not disappoint.

Mug Life {2}

Hello from the ATL! Last week when I was with Hannah, she had the best idea to do a dual Mug Life because 1. We were together and taking it for everything it was worth 2. We couldn't stop talking about ACOWAR because it was coming out in a few days, currently out now. So we give you the above picture and below MUG LIFE! Just a fun FYI, those mugs on top of the books represents the hero of the book the mug is sitting on top of. If you've read the series--WHY HAVEN'T YOU READ THE SERIES YET--we hope you have a nice chuckle over the mug representation. We sure did...

Adventures in the Great Wide Somewhere // BFF in the ATL

If you've seen my Instagram or Twitter, you'll know last week I had the most amazing time  visiting one of my very best friends, Hannah, in Atlanta! I was so excited to finally visit her and hang out and meet her new little man! I can honestly say this was one of the best weeks ever. Hannah and I had so much fun and I wish I could have just moved into her guest bedroom and stayed for a long time. Geography continues to be my best and worst enemy because leaving made me so sad but I'm legit already looking at cheap flights to get back. This was how Hannah and I spent our time in the ATL!
